On Monday, June 24 (EST), Sporta held an online event to promote DEI.
The event was held for MUFG (in-house) and featured professional women's basketball player Stephanie Mawuli. She spoke extensively about the current state of women's professional sports and female athletes, as well as her past successes and struggles.

Q&A
During the session, we were reminded of the current gender equality situation, including the difference in media exposure between men's and women's sports and the resulting difference in popularity. Attendees also heard Stephanie's ideas and actions for improvement, as well as her positive outlook for the upcoming Olympic Games.
The QA session was a great success, with participants asking many questions, including those in the chat room. Topics were not only basketball focused, but also featured how to deal with tension before a game and what MUFG can do to contribute to the women's sports world.
We hope that this event will help to further boost the women's sports world and promote women's activities.
We are looking forward to seeing women's basketball at the Paris Olympics to be held this summer!
